GE bags turbine order for world’s largest wind farm
General Electric has nabbed the turbine-supply contract for the $2bn Shepherd’s Flat project in the US state of Oregon, which at 845 megawatts (MW) will become the world’s largest wind farm upon its completion in 2012.
